Life Lately | The Revolving Door of Feelings

“It’s a shame. It’s awful being a grown up. But the carousel never stops turning. You can’t get off.” Hands up, who else feels like this?     I definitely feel this a lot of late. I thought it was just a chronic illness problem; that my life was beginning to be more and more dictated by my illness more…

Hello! My name is Louise and I have Crohn’s Disease, a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD).

I was diagnosed in September 2011 after months of symptoms that didn’t really make much sense. In the years since; I’ve had many hospital admissions, tried all of the medication options open to me at the time but chose to have surgery in 2016 to remove a large narrowing in my small bowel. November Goals

How did October go? Whilst I felt generally well during the month, I also felt very unwell. Not unwell enough to really see my IBD team but enough for it to interfere with working and life.
