Life Lately | Endocrinology

Pesky Ovaries! I’ve mentioned before, following some investigatory blood work, my GP had referred me to a Endocrinologist for some more answers and possible treatment for my PCOS. Background: I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS – Polycystic Ovary Syndrome – since I was 16/17 when I had a very large absence of periods, as well as ‘weight gain’ and some hirsutism. Life Lately | The Triple

The Triple Hi there, hello, welcome. They say things come in threes right? Well, that’s definitely true for me and my health. And this year has begun to already feel like the mother of all triples. Each post came with a disclaimer too so if you had any concerns, you should see your specialist in all instances. This ‘overview’ posts will look at how…

I’ve been able to document some key elements of my anxiety and whist my CBT appointments are continuing every two weeks, I do feel strong enough to battle through until then. I’ve had one blip – I had to talk to First Response Mental Health to help me settle…

February 2019

Being Kept on My Toes   Stoma wise; prescription of my supplies has now been updated but still having some issues. One is the lack of barrier being authorised by my GP – on my to do list for an appointment for my ‘medication and appliance review’ with a GP in mid March. I do have some barrier to use in the meantime; samples from other companies because my previous favourite has been failing alot these last couple weeks. So, whist I wait for my repeat Px to be updated correctly, I will find a new product that suits. So that is my…
